I own a 2016 Callaway and have tracked it half dozen times over the last year, it is a very expensive car to run even with my free track fees (instructor) and running scrubs. It runs me a about a grand carrying 80K worth of track insurance. The car is intoxicating with very few street cars that can run with it. I to needed to find a more affordable car.
So me and my neighbor just pick up a track ready C5 from this forum for $7,500.00. All in with shipping, spare brake pads, rotors, street/rain tires on rims and two sets of 305/645 scrubs we are sitting at 9K. We have tracked it for about 6 hours and are having a blast. PS I saw a track ready C5 for sale on here just the other day for $10,000.00 looked like a deal to me. best of luck, enjoy

Thanks for the advice. I think that is the way i am going to go. Are the track cars listed in the C5 Corvettes for sale section?

Sometimes, but it seems the "more prepared" cars are generally listed in the Road Racing Classified section. As they should be.
