It was hard to drive hard with no one to race with, But Hey, maybe I am losing it in my old age...it happens.
having said that, I plan on doing 100% preparation for the Ring. Including instruction on track by some ring expert and more.. I plan on going over 2 weeks prior and submersing myself in the track and the limits.
Here is a video link that shows a little bit of the time we had on track at Sebring short track.
thanks
Lou G

When I’m done she will be asking me for tips
I’ve been driving cars on various race tracks for over 40 years and won three championships and dozens and dozens of races. Racers all have egos the size of a house and I am no different.
I doubt Sabine would ask me to drive HER car at Road America either.
If I was going to show up run in the same day I would admit it would be a tough job but like any professional the amount of preparation I plan on doing like I’ve done my whole racing career would boggle your mind
so stay tuned
LOU gigliotti.

Sabine is probably very good - she is also almost 50 years old now and has not raced for over 10 years. Even so, she has local knowledge of the ring. I will do my best to connect with her to get some tips and gain some local knowledge from her and other local hero for sure. But this is not my first rodeo.
I didn’t win races and championships by accident.
Racing is a game of inches and ounces and anything can happen. We. Will see but I can assure you that it will be a 100% effort.

Here is a race I ran 2 years ago. Enjoy.
