Default screen kits adviseable?

I think the screen kit . would go a long way to enhancing the look of my Pewter C5. PROBLEM. I added a "Tribute Split window" on my C7. It lasted several track days until at over 130MPH the trim piece let loose. Felt like a bomb going off in the car. Any thoughts about whether these things are really in there or do I risk having a similar experience with my C5? THanks

I bet the factory Z06 screens bolt right in and I know for a fact they don't blow off at 140mph.
