Damn these things are getting slick. My version 1s are looking ancient compared to these new ones. Great to see the continued innovation of the stands.

What's up with your website? I just want to be able to see a product for sale, and the price you are asking for it. Nothing comes up when I click on shop. Just annoying pop-up asking me to subscribe to emails I'll never read.

Our pre-orders are shipping Early August and we're running another production run set for Late August. With racing coming back full swing now is the perfect time for a sale.

How are different bore sizes handled? Do you create with a large bore and centering rings are used for each variation?

Awesome question!

The above rendering shows our Five Lug Lock-A-Lug system which utilizes tapered washers inside of the slots for centering. Our standard bore size is 3.0625". If a customer would like centering rings for a hub-centric setup we can make them as you mentioned.

We generally utilize the lug-centric system for centering as the possible variations would have minimal effect on the alignment whereas a rotating wheel can suffer from vibrations due to a small misalignment. A radial misalignment would act on the effective height of the Hub Stand. If we say there is a variance of 0.010" due to bent studs, a poorly machined wheel hub, or some other issue it will have a rake angle effect of ~0.005 degrees over a 100 inch wheelbase. Rake angle is generally only measure down to 0.1 degree, two magnitudes greater.

In essence, we can definitely make a set of hub-centric rings if a customer would like but for most applications there is no need. Thanks for asking that, glad we're not the only ones who think about these things!

Thanks!

It's definitely not a Corvette but one of our Pre-Order customers is putting his Precision Hub Stands to use on a 991.2 Cup!

Is Colton still running CSM? I have one of the original sets of hub stands and went to their website to look at maybe updating to the newer version. They sure have changed a lot (look like jewelry now!) but they also are a LOT more expensive. I'm wondering if someone bought them out or something. I see the name change on the profile too.

Thanks for the kind words! We've definitely taken the Hub Stands to the next level. I still run the company, just don't have a vendor account on here anymore. Mostly over on Rennlist. We still support our legacy products as much as our current ones. Happy to answer any questions you have. Feel free to PM me on this account or through our website.

Thanks!
Colton

Happy 4th Weekend!
We've released a number of updates over the past three years, engineering one of the premier alignment solutions on the market.
The Corvette Community's support has had an enormous impact on our success and we're incredibly grateful.

We've recently transitioned our product line to feature Hardcoat Anodizing as the standard option.
Hardcoat creates a surface hardness equivalent to tool steel for superior wear resistance and longevity along with high contrast aesthetics.

We don't have a public sale for the 4th on our website but I'd be happy to send you a custom quote with a discount for the 4th. Feel free to PM me on here or email me directly at Colton@CSMPerformance.com and we can tailor it for your needs.

The full CSM hub stand setup was expensive, but I really am happy with it. It's the first alignment setup I've had where I always get the same results and never feel like I'm trying to divine the actual toe under a magnifying glass. I used it today to set the track alignment on my Blackwing.

Our Lock-A-Lug option is hands down the most popular, accommodating lug patterns from 5x100mm to 5x130mm and everything in between.
