Ways to pass sound at local tracks
I am looking for a way to help pass sound at local tracks, Sears Point and Thunderhill Raceway in Northern California. They both have a 100 DB sound limit.
The car has the Corsa Extreme with x-pipe and is quite loud and I love it. Of course it would be easier to put the factory system back on but I would rather not. Since 99% of my driving is on the street it would be nice to take the exhaust tips off and bolt a short muffler on in 5 minutes. Something that would get me to pass sound with minimal effort.
Supertrapp has a short muffler that might work.https://supertrapp.com//5-universal-...black-549-3514
I don't care if it looks goofy. It would stick out about 4" past the bumper cover so the exhaust shouldn't melt the plastic.
The car needs to be 10 DB quieter at 50' than it is now.
What do you think?

Melting Slicks
This has worked on a c7 z06. Supertrapp inserted into loud side.
