Lou...any chance you might want to take that chassis to VIR Grand Course and lay down a comparison lap to the ZR1 and see how it fares in comparison? Nurburgring isn't until October...that's a long *** time!

Get some press and run VIR grand!

Your setup should be able to best it for sure. Generate more energy and momentum, hopefully it can lead to higher media anticipation of the Nurburgring deal, even though it's a modified car. Why not? A social media campaign, couple of heads up to the right people, grab Rob Ferreti, his guy Dude in Blue, have them put it on their channels...you could get a million eyes on this easy just through those avenues. Jalopnik will key on it.

You and I linked up on LinkedIn...did you know it was me by chance? Damian...of course we're connected by Lou Giocondo, that #1 hustler...lol. Me and him go a ways back to his Dupont days.

Too busy for sure since the car has to leave for Germany in first week of July.
But for example the ZR1 at the Texas Mile, recorded a half mile speed of 162.8 With the wing removed. It was slower with the wing on.

Our car did 164mph in the half mile with the wing still installed on the car. So we were faster in the 1/2 mile by about 2 mph but the ZR1 took their wing off and we left ours on.

Should be interesting

Didn't realize you have to ship that soon. Impressive on the speed numbers though...plenty of downforce and straightline speed to go with it...sounds like a Ring build for sure. All we gotta do now is pray for good weather like it's a wedding day...

Well...depends on who ya ask. If you talk to BTG Dale....not well. I think the Nurburgring endeavor was possibly under-estimated...both in complexity, logistics, politics and real-world challenge....and probably cost. What I think Lou did show everyone is that, going even sub 8's at the Nurburgring is no joke...not BTG times, but full lap times.
