Anyone use Proxes RR tires?
I need a set of dedicated track day tires in C5Z06 sizes to replace my Khumho 710s that are discontinued. Hoosiers would be great but a set of Toyo Proxes RRs is $500 cheaper at TireRack in same sizes. 275/40/17, 295/30/18. I did a search but didn't see any discussion about these tires here.

I tried a set on my M3 race car. Overall I was satisfied... definitely slower than the TA R1 tires I'd been running (comparable to Hoosier R6). but slightly faster than NT01s. I was able to compare the NT01s and the RR same car, same day, same size.

I run the 295/30/18 in a square setup on my C6. Very happy with them. The price @ Phil’s Tire Service w/heat cycling means I get can 2 sets for only a few hundred over 1 set of Hoosiers which I was running previously. They do have unique mounting requirements, the recommended rotation is limited between opposite corners, so this will be a real disadvantage with your setup.
