Clutch Masters 850
I'm looking for a dependable clutch and found the following web page: http://www.clutchmasters.com/2002-2004-5-7l-ls6/
Has anybody used any of these products. They are expensive, but they look very impressive. I read a review from a BMW guy for one of their Race/Street applications and it seems like this is a really good quality product. For this review, go to: www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=366681
I've heard some negative things about every other clutch manufacture, Mantic, Monster, Centerforce, Mcleod, etc. and don't want to have to dig into the clutch once I have everything back together.
I've thrown this over to the C5 Tech guys as well.
Thanks.

You can find negative reviews on everything and anything...you need to understand WHY they are negative reviews before judging a company.
People can be a$$holes and install something wrong, then blame the product/company. Or slip the clutch horrible due to them sucking at driving and blame the clutch...
Take ALL online reviews with a grain of salt.

Maybe a dumb question...but why not a stock replacement clutch? It’s reliable lol

I have installed 4 of these over the years - and they have held up very well to track use. Since I just installed them (in customer cars) I can't give you all of the feedback that someone who drives it everyday may be able to.
But there are quite a few of reviews over on LS1 Tech, I found a few just by going to the Manual Transmission section and searching for RPS - here is a very in depth review with pictures:
RPS BC2
The one thing that may take some getting used to is that all the surfaces of the clutch are carbon - so when the clutch is cold it reacts a little differently than when it's warm. When you get heat into it it may become a little grabby so if you get stuck in stop and go traffic it may be a bit of a pain to try to slip it. But for anything else I think it will do just fine. For street use you are probably better off going with the steel flywheel for a little more inertia so you don't have to rev it as much - but for track use the aluminum is better to allow you to match gears and rev quicker. So it really comes down to where you want it to perform better.
