AP/Essex Big Brake Kit CP9660/372mm for C5/C6
SOLD -- FS: Big Brake Kit, AP/Essex CP9660/372mm for C5 or C6 Corvette
In the process of upsizing my front Big Brake Kit to the CP9668/372mm contingent on getting the right price for my current kit (CP9660/372mm, C6 Ref Part No. 13.01.10029, $4399 list price) which is only 14 months old. It will work with either the C5 or C6 Corvette. This big brake kit has worked great and if I do not get a buyer I will keep it as I am quite happy with it. Here is what is available. Pictures are attached:
Also, you will need to check the clearance of between your wheels and the CP9660 caliper as some 18 inch C6Z OEM wheels are very close or will interfere with the calipers. 18 inch or larger front wheels are needed. I use CCW C14, 18 x 11 front wheels on my C6Z. AP/Essex has an on-line template, which you can download to check your wheel clearance. Do this before you buy.
Go to the AP/Essex Parts Service web site to learn more about the CP9660/372mm BBK. https://www.essexparts.com/essex-des...ion-brake-kits
Replacement parts available from Essex Parts Services are as follows: Replacement rings, 372mm x 34mm 84 vane: Left part number: 13.05.10027, Right part number: 13.05.10026, Hardware kit, ring to hat, 12 bolt- 13.04.40003 These replacement parts are not included in this big brake kit. These parts are for when you eventually need to replace the rings which are the outside ring portion of the rotors. Timing of the replacement rings depends on how hard you use the brakes. For a street car you may never need to replace rings. For an aggressive track car you may need to replace rings every 1000 track miles.....

Can't seem to send you a PM
Is the kit complete minus the brakes lines or does it need the replacement parts you mention?
Thanks

The BBK Kit is complete as per the description and photos. The replacement parts are for replacing the rotors which will happen eventually. The timing will depend on how hard you track the car. I will update the post to clarify.
