Yeah, we have the WEC super season to thank for that. But hey...C7R just won a championship without a single 1st place finish so...let's root for Ford unreliability and wrong place/wrong time bad luck next year as well! We sure know the BOP won't be on the old girls side...lol. BOP was a real struggle early in the 2018 season...I sure hope IMSA gets a better handle on things, out of the gate.

The end of the season BoP was really good. I've got no issues. IMSA only needs to manage 2 things:

1 - Realized (actually remember, since they used to be good at managing this) that Daytona is a low downforce track, and they need to adjust the BoP for Daytona, just like WEC does for Le Mans. Make it different, but then revert right back to how it was at the end of the year.
2 - Manage the BMWs, because like every second year car, they will naturally pick up speed as they have lessons learned from the previous year at each track to apply, and they will be faster as the season goes.

Otherwise, let them go racing.

Well, you'd think with no rule changes that getting the BOP right at Daytona would be in the bag but...that never turns out to be the case. All I know is, the BMW M8's sound badass in person, compared to the former M6's. Those bimmers are massive looking, but they're beast.
