The other thing would be exhaust, but once you've ditched the valves then it doesn't matter.

What did you do about your valves? Did your car have the AFM valves (I have the sims for those). Did you just leave the NPP wires unplugged? Any CEL for that? My new exhaust has places to mount the NPP valves, but I don't see the point if they don't do anything and leaving them unplugged has no ill effects. (I know unplugging the AFM valves w/o sims does cause a CEL).
You can tune out the afm cel. Don't need a Sim. Npp does not give cel , otherwise everyone with the fuse pulled would get one.

I got a set of EdgyVette sims last year and scooped them up. At the time I still had a year of powertrain warranty I didn't want to give up with a tune. I'll use the sims and just leave the NPP ones unplugged and tape up the ends.

weekend was excellent

I started out with some Hooser R7 scrubs from a friend who ran them last year at Nat's who said they had "5 heat cycles on them" they proved to be really sketchy and I couldn't get any power down. was getting 2:30's which just.. no...

Put on some fresh tires and came in with a 2:26.7 saturday for 4th place (out of 9) & Sunday morning with a 2:25.04 which put me in 4th for the day.

Was busying working/instructing the event and missed the 2nd session and by the third i was just so tired & hot to really do anything worth while.

without looking at data the car definitely has 23's in it. I'm very confident I could get 24's right now tho. Still a few seconds off from the class leader which had a phenomenal 2:19 on saturday and an impressive 2:20 today (reseting the TT2 class record with saturdays time)

Congratulations to @Shortcutsleeping & @GSpeed for the win/record

Also thanks to them I had a car that's only limitations were me!

Also to note, the suspension issue that would randomly show up is now gone with the car higher, which leads me to believe its the ride height simulator thingy.

I would still like increase my front downforce a tad with a slightly larger splitter w/diffusers maybe some wide body fenders to get some wider tires up front but all in all i'm really happy with this weekend

Congrats on getting some bugs worked out and going faster!!! COTA is as technical as it is power....and getting everything right isn't easy.

I made a prototype C7 splitter for Louis, it has a pretty big lip, is carbon and pretty light. Not a show piece by any means, but might work for you. Basically a C7 version of this:

If you're interested you might ask him if he's still got it...it was a test for some car early last year IIRC, but not sure it made it on that guys' car.

Here is a snap. It ended up just under 9 pounds where the plastic one was 23 and the wood was over 25iirc.

Costas
cars and such...

wow 9 pounds is considerably lighter

I have a new template, I made from MDF already I just need to convert from MDF to something that I can actually bolt to the car.

I would love a carbon splitter, just not able to drop the money right now.
