Default 18x10.5 square, 295/305 r888r or 275/305 nt01?

What do you guys think. Buying four 18x10.5 interlagos +65 for my c7 z51 (Z06 springs, stage 3 aero). Currently running 255/295 r888rs and need more front tire.

Should I get:
275/35r18 front and 305/35r18 rear nt01
Or
295/30r18 front and 305/35r18 rear r888r

The price is very similar. I'd like to try nittos but..What do you guys think?

What's the point of a square setup with non square tires? The point of square...is square.

Definitely go with the wider front. There's already quite a bit of understeer dialed in to these cars. Wider fronts DO HELP. In a way, using wider front tires is an opportunity, not risk.

NT01s are better than R888R.

Because I don't want to spend another $1k or $2k just to make the rear go from 10.5 to 11. Sadly that's the problem here, no 18x11 wheels available that fit the rear.

I'm worried going that short on the rear will scrape my rockers and/or mess with traction management. I want to keep sizes differently if I can.

this is the setup that thousands of us have run. it works great, and doesnt affect AH, TCS, or ABS at all.

i will say this. i ran square setup on my camaro and loved it (60/40 weight distribution)
so when i moved to the (50/50) vette i assumed it would work great. i didnt care for it. had to wait too long to get on power, and wasnt as stable as id like it. lots of tip toeing around. i ended up going back to a staggered setup and would never go back to square.
now i do road course. on autocross i think the square setup could be more usable.

On a c7?

And thanks. I'm wondering if 295/305 on the same wheel will basically mean square and won't gice enough stagger.

With 255/295 I'm understeering heavily. -2,-2 camber. I know several run 335/315 on c7 with good results.

no C7, C6Z here. but square setups have been run on thousands of C5/C6 & C7s.

i ran 315 square, then switched to 315/335

the term square always refers to width. never height. usually the exact same tire F/R

I think you should consider 18x10.5, 19x11.5. the 1" difference at the rear is very significant.

I really don't think I can squeeze in a 19x11.5 + tires without seriously raising the rear of the car up. Anyhow, already ordered the tires 295/30r18 and 305/35r18 r888rs. Good thing is I can move up o 295/315 if I need more stagger.

As a point of reference, my 295/30r18 r888r fit on a 10 inch wheel with the section width being a total of 1/2" wider than the wheel.

FYI, this setup was very robust. If I were to do a narrow body, I'd definitely do 19" at the rear to use the extra clearance from control arms to increase width. You're not putting on much smaller tires, anyway; this is just stretching it properly, and I think it at least gains you another second on a usual track.

Forgestar, they'll make whatever you want...

Unfortunately, Forgestar are not true custom wheels, and there are certain offset ranges. To start with, most models don't even have 18" sizes available (like CF5V, etc.). You likely need to go with F14.

For F14: https://www.forgestar.com/wheels/rot...ck-series/f14/
There is 18x10.5 available in right offsets for front, but 18x11 doesn't seem to be available in the right offset range for the rears. You need +76 or so.
18×11 offsets from +11 to +55
18×11 offsets from -6 to +43
