Default Lap bar harness install

Can you guys please post pics or how you mounted your lap harnesses? I am not referring to a shark bar shoulders bar. Are you mounting to floor via eye bolts or seat mounts?

Can't mount to the floor. Mounts are either part of the seat bracket or mount to an additional bracket you bolt in using rear seat floor bolts. VetteWorks sells a 5pt or 6 pt bolt in bracket.

I custom made seat bracket tabs using angle iron on each side for lab belt. I welded some round tube to the crossbar of my seat bracket in the back for my submarine belt.

This requires you use a harness with a clip on ends. Some harnesses have tabs with a hole to bolt them onto something.

This is what i am referring to. How has everyone mounted their harnesses without the sharkbar kit. I am trying to understand how the bracket fits with an eye bolt on the trans tunnel side. Or if everyone is mounting the harness with a bolt that swivels.

Default Lap belts

Brey Krause or Crow I forget but there are two brackets. This is the tunnel side. The outside bracket uses the stock mounting point. So you have 6-point and stock belts at all times

I sell the Ridetech bracket, it's $100 shipped per side. Uses clip in belts, which I also have.

I sell Brey-Krause as well, and for the shoulder belt harness bar, I prefer that to the Ridetech, but this is what I use for the lap belt stuff for C5/C6.

There is a C7 version as well.

The eyebolts are not an issue with the tunnel. My seat rails have the eyebolts attached and I just clip the lap belt in before installing the seat.

I used the eye bolts on an AMT mount and had no issues with fitting the seat in a C5Z. Just do as BlueZ06 says and install the inside lap belt before installing the seat.
