Why KNS Brakes is THE BEST!
New guy to HPDE... was told by a racing mechanic I'd be OK with only 3500 miles on my 2019 Z06 doing my second ever 3 day HPDE... at the Glenn...
I had 5 previous track days under my belt before this last Friday - Sunday event... and all 5 of those days (2 of which were COS @ Spring Mountain) had rain / snow for part or all of the sessions...
First session out on sunny, dry track @ 75F - pads rebelled a bit... Looked after - instructor and I thought "we should be ok"... second session, little more aggressive - after - about 1/2 of all that was left was now gone... Ok - knew we needed to do something - 3rd session - now we are like "let's get on the phone"...
Friday night - 4:50pm - Ken answers... has Carbotech XP12's for the front and XP10's for the rear IN STOCK... Only pads I could find anywhere with a chance of salvaging my weekend!
Ken personally ran them to a UPS facility to get them overnighted 9:30 am Saturday delivery for me... AND he sent text messages to show me the box, the tracking number, everything...
I will never buy another brake part from anyone - anywhere - ever again... customer for life - awesome guy!!! So far above and beyond...
@KNSBrakes - thank you - you let me keep learning for all 3 days of the event and achieve a pretty darn respectable 2:15:00 PB @ the Glenn! And super consistent 2:18:xx laps... as a Novice...
As an aside - for new to HPDE guys that might read this - you can NOT IMAGINE the difference a track pad will make on your car, your confidence, and not having to worry about a different brake experience in every - single - turn - on - every - single - lap...

Ken is the best!!
This is a must for anyone looking to do activity on track. Pads and fluid are the first things to do before you go out.

Former Vendor
They helped us out on some brakes for our WRX. The pads we wanted were backordered so they bumped us up to the better set!
They rock!

Just installed the AP brakes on the ZR1 from Ken. He genuinely appreciates the patronage and makes sure your needs are covered. I only do business with those that appreciate it. I will do repeat business with Ken.

KNS Brakes
One more Kudo for Ken. I was at VIR last week with NCM and noticed the front brake pads seemed to be over heating. Went by Kens trailer and he looked the rotors over and suggested moving from XP-10 to a XP-12. he did not have the pads but called around and found that the track store had them. Bought and installed them at lunch and had great brakes the rest of the event. Super nice guy who goes out of his way to help.
