Default Azenis 615+ on stock c5z wheels- thoughts?

I've scoured the forum for folks running azenis on the 17/18 wheel set up. Seems the latest input was back in 2014! I'm looking for suitable auto-X tires using the 17/18 set up. The main reason is economics. I'd rather not buy another 2 18" wheels for the front. Seems the azenis are the only(?) 200tw that are DOT ( street able ) in my price range.
please reply with alternatives or any concerns with this set up ( 275 front / 315 or? Rear
thanks rjm

Default Falken Tires

I ran 255 /40/17 front and 315/30/18 on stock C5-Z06 wheels last year. Autocross and HPDE. They work fine and stick decent. I drive them on the street and they are quiet compared to a R-888 anyway.

Yes, Spec Corvette runs 315/30-18 on all four corners with Falken 615K+.

Just my C4 experience, but Rivals 315/30R18 all around is perfectly balanced.

your gonna want the wider tires up front. unless you like running for fun in dead last, and getting frustrated with all the push.

do it right get the 18s and run a square setup.
