I bought some Timkens for my 89. Only have 1 installed right now but seems to be holding up now.

With all of that said, please pay attention to the difference between years. I know these worked on my '96. I don't believe they will work on an '86 for the reasons listed. Perhaps somebody else can verify.
I use the the F body on a 90. The cap with the ABS sensor needs to be removed from the bearing so it will fit in the knuckle. I plug the original ABS sensor hole in the knuckle with a rubber plug and don't use the ABS.

I put 90 Weight oil in the cavity to keep the bearing in a bath of oil on 1 try and that bearing is actually still going strong, or it's just a coincident.

So it will work, assuming the 86 knuckle is like the 90 if you don't need your ABS.
