Here are some Vette (and other) pics that I took over the two days that we were at Watkins Glen.
I made 4 laps in my '70 coupe before an oil leak forced the car back into the garage.



After I put the Vette back in the garage, I drove my dad's Miata for the rest of the 2 days. This is what happened 3 laps into the second day... yes, that's a connecting rod peeking through the 3" hole in the bottom of the oil pan.


This is my buddy's 2004 Subaru WRX STi (with <1500 miles) doing an impression of a Grand Sport. The insurance company isn't going to pay for it. ~$8k damage to his brand new car. (Edit: now he's appealing so they might pay for it, but the estimate just went up to $18k!!!!)

great pics. looks like you were up on the spotters deck. thats my favorite place to stand at the glen. it gives the best view with nearly the entire track within viewing distance. were you guys running the short or long or both courses?

No. You can just barely see the rear door handle at the edge of the picture.
