Some CCW Wheel fitment pics, and a wheel spacer note
Just some misc info for the archives.
in this directory:
http://www.jakelatham.com/c5/projects/ccws/
are pictures with my original 18x10.5 silver CCW's with 305 Hoosiers, along with some pictures of my new setup, which is black-centered 17x11/17x11.5 with 315/35-17 V710's. Hopefully that will give folks an idea about how much "X" sticks out or doesn't.
The fronts I believe are 17x11 8" backspace, and the rears are 17x11.5 8.75" backspace (near as I can measure w/ my tape measure).
Just to be on the safe side for rubbing, I installed a 1/8" spacer in the rears, which is actually a nice steel GM Part, which apparently came stock on 85-92 IROC Camaros. it is part number 14091902, and fits like it was made for the car.
Just posting for the sake of folks doing future searches
