1957 corvette For Sale
Up for sale is my personal 1957 Corvette. This car has just undergone a complete frame on restoration. Everything is either new or restored.
1. 245 HP Dual Quad Car. EH CODE BLOCK.
2. 4 speed with positraction rear end. (From a 1962).
3. The motor has no miles on it since the rebuild.
4. Correct WCFB carburetors were professionally restored including replating.
5. The car has been painted the Onyx Black and Silver with a Standox Base coat Clear Coat.
6. New brakes.
7. New Correct WWW tires.
8. New clutch.
9. New correct wiring harness.
10. New hubcap spinners.
11. Original Radiator and gas tank reconditioned.
12. New correct Al Knoch interior, including floor mats and trunk mat, seat covers, dash cover and carpet and headliner.
13. New aluminized exhaust.
14. All the bright work has been triple chrome plated or professionally polished.
15. The weather striping is completely new some was NOS.
16. The gauges have been rebuilt.
17. This car is a factory radio, heater delete hardtop only car.
18. The car spent its life in Northern California and southern Oregon. I have a copy of the Oregon Title.
19. It had been off the road since the 70's. I bought it 5 years ago and finished it in January of 2005.
20. The car is really nice, quality restoration.
21. It is not a NCRS restoration.
22. The hardtop has been painted and has a new headliner installed, but to be perfect, it needs a new rubber kit installed. I never planned to used the hardtop.
23. I would drive the car anywhere. It has been inspected.
24. Delivery is available for a fee. Car is located in Victoria, BC CANADA.
25. Serious buyers only.
26. CAR WILL BE DELIVERED OR SHIPPED ONCE FUNDS HAVE CLEARED THE BANK. CERTIFIED BANK CHECKS, BANK DRAFTS OR GOOD OLD CASH ONLY.

I have a folder with all the reciepts. Some of the expenses were as follows:
$4600 engine and carburetors to be rebuild.
$3000 miscellaneous parts from Mary Jo and Corvette Central.
$3000 Chrome Plating
$2000 Misc. work (rad and gas tank serviced, front end alignment, inspection).
$6500 Paint.
$1200 Tires.
$1000 exhaust system.
$650 Positraction.
$2800 Corvette parts and install (interior).
$175 Tachometer rebuild.
$500 Stainless polishing.
I Know wrong steering wheel, but I like the contrast. I will change it for the red one that needs to be painted if the buyer chooses.
The car has an E-Brake alarm.
I have a lot of time and money invested in this car. It is not a fire sale, I do not need to sell this. I have other projects that I want to finish and I would like the room in my shop.
