Cliff...my 92 is bright aqua metallic with the black leather interior, automatic LT-1, I believe it has everything on it you could order short of the ZR package....adj. suspension, Bose Gold CD, sport seats, both tops, etc....it listed in 1992 for $40,332 so that should give you an idea of equipment...I have added the chrome 5-spoke ZR-1 style wheels with new tires....I bought it about a year and a half ago from the original owner (through a Corvette service) who bought it new in Des Moines, Iowa....I talked with him before buying it...always been pampered but driven on a regular basis...he stored it every winter from October through March in a climate controlled facility, I do the same in my own 4 car garage except that I drive it at least once a week if weather permits...never seen bad weather in it's life except an occaisional rain....I show the car locally and have won several trophies....you could keep it pampered or put it into daily service as it is in perfect condition....it now has 49,000 miles on it and is going to be hard to part with because I'm always afraid that my next Corvette might be a real pain in the butt always needing repair and I really don't have time or the money for a constant repair job.....I've always wanted a mid-year so I'm casually looking for a good solid unit. You can view some pics in my signature.....let me know what you think....

Chickenman: Looks like a nice 92 but sport seats are not in my future.... Never did like the sport seats (just a personal thing). I had a 94 and a 96 and loved them both.

Pro-Team has a 64 coupe just like mine except it is a 4spd and their price is $36,900. I know, that one isn't sold either....

Not many looking for an automatic but that, along with the AC, does make it more rare and I have enjoyed driving it. I would take $30k for the car but I am in no hurry to sell. I just want to keep it out there in case the right person comes along.

Thanks for the interest and....

Hey Cliff....I've been thinking about this pretty seriously over the past couple days and I believe I'm gonna wait awhile cause I really want some more time with my '92...it's just such a pleasure to drive and I really havn't gotten in as much "seat time" as I would like before trading, plus I REALLY wanted a 1967 model with a four speed for the longest time, I guess I'll wait. With kids, college, work, and honey-do's....I enjoy a car that only requires oil changes each year.. .....THANKS for the response and have a great weekend!!!

Chickenman: Well....at least we kept the 64 at the top of the list... Keep it in mind if you know of anyone looking.

For 2 1/2 years all I have done to the 64 is change the oil..... That's what's nice about having a former NCRS Top Flight car....

Hope the weather in your area isn't too bad today...

If I didn't already have a 64 Air Coupe I'd definetly be interested! Hang in there, the right person simply hasn't seen the post yet. If you've still got it in August, will it be at Carlisle?

7vettes: I probably should take the car to Carlisle but I have committed to going to Corvette Crossroads in Mackinaw, Michigan the same weekend. Our club is going to Mackinaw as a group.

You might be interested to know that my 64 was orginally purchased from Mays Chevrolet in Pompano Beach, FL on 5-9-64 and was in Florida until 1988.

You are right..... The right person hasn't seen the post yet but I am in no hurry at all....

Thanks for the post... And....

Ok Cliff 64, you got my curoisty. Tell me about the car. NCRS Top Flight when? Has it been hit? What engine 250 or 300hp? Laquer paint, rust free frame, orginal engine or restamp? Any other options like power windows, radio? Should have tinted glass on all windows. Any paperwork and ownership history?

Sorry to be so fussy, just I have been down that funny road befor. For 35 years I have been a Corvette nut, but am a little older now and have MS so I have to go with a powerglide car.......and living in the California desert, you must have air conditioning.

Are you looking for anything in trade? How about a 64 Fuel Injected coupe Daytona Blue / Silver leather with only 15000 orginal miles? Your car and $20000 will put you behind the seat.

Have a grat day.
Jim

Cliff, sent a mial and logged in. Father is highly interested but not computer literate so will be speaking on his behalf.

Wants a super clean car with matching numbers. prefers an automatic and small engine but is not as sticky on that as matching numbers and clean. Thanks
