WTB Mid year coupe, 40 grand, reasonable?
I am in the hunt for a mid year coupe that is a fun, reliable driver. Matching numbers, big HP, tons of options really dont mean a lot to me. It has to look bone stock and show pride of ownership. Nice paint, clean rust free, all that jazz that everyone is looking for I guess. I am not really into chrome, fender flairs, 6 speaker stereos, etc.
Do I have to up the anti, or am I being realistic?

If you dont need #s matching it should be in the ball park and not real hard to find. There are a couple on here very close to that.

There are a couple of '64's on Evilbay right now that you can get into for that price.

40K will get it done w/o the matching numbers.
You will be the smart one to do it that way too. The object is to have fun, not worry about numbers.
