Default 1957 Corvette for sale

I am selling a Red on Red. Factory hardtop only 1957. It runs and drives well. 283 4 speed. The engine is the correct 548 block and the stamp pad is correct for a 245hp 2x4 car. I do not think that it is the original block for the car. The car was restored about 10 or so years ago. Aluminized exhaust with stainless mufflers. It shows well but does have some chips and marks in the paint. SOLD

Very nice car for that price.

Man o man when my wife sees this one she's gonna go nuts. She still wants a C1 and a 57 has become her favorite.

Is that an EH or FH? Picture is kinda fuzzy. Why I ask? FH is a 283/220 powerglide. EH is a two/four with manual. It would make more sense if someone pulled the PG out and put in a four speed rather than replace the intake and dual carbs with a single carb and leave the four speed in.

What are the last four digits of the VIN and the casting number on the block. That will tell you most of what you need to know. Nice car for the money. Thanks.

That's a beautiful car. I'll trade you for my '66 coupe, if you're interested?

Very nice looking car. Is there any other history known about the car? Is there any evidence of body repairs or frame repairs?

THanks,

Nick

Thanks for all the nice comments.

The letters on the stamp pad are EH. I posted a better photo.

The car is rust free and pretty clean underneath. It retains all its original body panels. I have not photos, but looks to have minor repair over the passenger side front fender. I have not really gone over the car with a fine tooth comb. The car is located in Salem, Oregon.

Thanks

What kind of ID tag is on the door jam? It's not a factory tag.

The car has its correct 1957 Corvette VIN. The VIN tag matches the title.

Thanks
