Default F/S 66 Coupe, Factory A/C, p/s, p/b, p/w, 327, 4 spd, k/o wheels, telesc teak strg wh

SOLD!!
I am relisting my 66 coupe with new information and new pictures to answer questions I have received.
Matching number 327/300 hp 6112430 F0I03HR Flint Jan 03 (see pictures) cast 3858174, cast date L275 (Dec 27, 65)
HR is for powerglide. Car now has 69 Corvette Muncie 4spd, correctly installed with all correct hardware. transmission vin 9S702966 code P9M19 (pic)
Correct shifter and linkage.
Correct rear AK 1 25 66 (pic) 3:36 Jan 25 66
Trim tag E28 St Louis Jan 28 vin 194376S112430 Jan build (pic)
Correct Exhaust manifold (pic)
Trim tag correct 976AA Nassau Blue 415AJ (bright blue leather) Now white leather (pic)
Holley carb w/electric choke (pic)
Car now has trans ignition inside dist cap (amp mounted under pass side fender) Looks original. All ignition shielding in place.
Pioneer stereo mounted in glove box, speakers and amp in rear jack cover.
Western Wheel knock off wheels in great shape. Knockoff spinners have chrome splitting on ends of spinner ***'y (pic)
New thin whitewall tires.
Starts and runs great. Very smooth and very strong.
Has electric fan mounted on new aluminum radiator between radiator and clutch fan. I pulled the fuse because it doesn't need it. Could be removed. Car never runs hot.
Heater core is not connected. I connected it and the heat and controls work great, but has a drip in passenger foot well. Disconnected and blew out coolant. Will need heater core repair if you want heat.
A/C works great. I was told by previous owner that it was converted to R134.
Gauges and tach and speedometer work great. Telescoping wheel works correctly as does the horn.
Clock is quartz movement and runs sometimes, stops sometimes.
Paint is very slick base/clear. There is a door ding (touched up) on the passenger door which is very small and a couple of rock dings under the front nose, also touched up.
The hood appears to have been painted separate from the car. The clear coat on the hood has orange peel, the rest of the car does not.
This car attracts a lot of attention and is a very sharp looking driver. Has stock exhaust and mufflers, not loud.
Power windows work, driver's side is slow sometimes.
Power antenna appears original and works great.
Both headlights roll over quickly and have very good lines with the front.
I cannot feel any bonding strips on the front fenders.
I'm offering my car for $45K. If you have any questions I haven't answered, pm me and I'll either call or e-mail you to discuss.
I have my eye on an 08 Convertible to replace this car, and if it is still available at the time of this sale, I might bargain a little, but no deep discounts.

Default 66 Coupe

I really like your car. I just don't have the garage room with three original owner Corvettes. I could really enjoy driving yours though. I do not want to offend you either, however I did notice that the source of vacuum for your vacuum advance is on the front metering block where it does not recieve full time vacuum advance. Full time vacuum advance is available from a port at the base of the carburetor. Better gas mileage and heat management in stop and go driving is a benefit of full time vacuum.

From the Holley installation guide, the advance is supposed to be connected to the ported vacuum:

The other type of vacuum connection on a Holley is ported vacuum, which is weak at idle, strong at cruise, and weak at WOT. This one is always (if supplied at all-some competition carbs don't have this port) on the passenger (US) side of the carb, above the idle mixture screw, and is generally used for distributor vacuum advance.

Are you saying that's incorrect?

Never mind, I just read an article about the pros and cons of manifold vacuum to the advance. I believe I'll just leave it as is for now. The new owner can decide. It runs and idles great as is and the temp is great as well. Thanks for the input.
