64 Coupe, 327/365, 4 speed, frame off restoration
I have a very nice 1964 coupe for sale. Satin silver with Daytona blue interior.
Car was restored in the 90's, frame off, done very nicely. It is a numbers matching engine. A tremendous amount of documentation is included with this Corvette including owner history dating back to 1966, service history, restoration history, owners manual, shop manual, assembly manual, photo album documenting restoration and even a 1964 U.S. road map for the glove box! Additional equipment includes a 4 speed transmission, working PowerBar radio, power brakes, knock-off type wheel covers, and a custom fitted car cover.
Originally, the car was a 327/300, but when it was rebuilt for the restoration, the engine was given the 365 cam, correct carb, tach, and valve covers. Coupled with the exhaust system, this the best sounding Corvette I've ever heard.
This car needs nothing. Zero rust anywhere, undercarriage still looks new. It drives very well. I use it about 50 miles a month.
If you want a nice coupe that you can enjoy from day one, this would be a good one to consider. I don't use it enough to justify keeping it, and I could use the garage space for something else. Asking $48,500 for a great Corvette that is ready to go. Located in Virginia. Please contact me by email at srfox at mac.com
