FS: 1958 3 Speed Manual Convertible in Great Condition $59,000 Willing to Negotiate
This is the father of mr shickadance, the rules of the forum state that the original owner is the only one who can list the corvette so here is the ad one more time.
Up for sale is an original, numbers matching 1958 Chevrolet Corvette in complete running order.
This convertible has a fully functioning manual hood, climate controlled garage kept for entire life of the owner.
What this car offers:
3 speed manual transmission
Color is Silver Blue with Siver Blue interior and White Soft top
Battery has been maintained by a trickle charger during the winter months
Garage kept in a climate controlled (constant 65 degrees with a dehumidifier running)
Starts and runs perfectly fine
No rust, No Bondo, Chrome is in excellent shape, body is in incredible shape, Paint is immaculate
Authentic, Numbers matching engine to chassis
Bought from Proteam Corvette in Napolean Ohio
Original Equipment, Radio, Interior
Alignment is perfect, drives and tracks perfectly

1958 Corvette Convertible, 283cu-in/230 hp 3 speed, numbers match, Silver Blue paint with Silver Blue interior and White Soft top. Body on Restored with newer paint, interior, top, chrome, stainless and tires. Optioned with 3.70 rear, Wonderbar Radio, Courtesy Light, Heater, Hubcaps, and 6.70X15 wide white wall tires. Most all factory correct type components including the spare, jack, jack tools, trunk mat, trunk liner, rebound straps, shifter, shielding air cleaner, generator, washboard hood, trunk irons, owners manual and t-3 headlights.
Purchases in 2008 for $69,995
Asking $59,000 Willing to negotiate, but will NOT entertain low-ball offers.

Note, These valve covers are NOT current with the engine, they belong to I believe the fuel injected motor, I have the proper, original valve covers that belong on the engine however I like the silver look of the other valve covers better. Obviously, the correct valve covers AND the silver covers will be included in the sale.
Thank you for the interest, I have gotten some requests for engine shots, and shots under the car. Unfortutanly I am limited by not having access to a lift and the pictures came out all black when i tried to crawl under the car. I did my best to include shots of the visible frame from the engine bay, and as you can see, not a hint of rust, and that is current throughout the entire vehicle.

1958 corvette
Hi...I've been looking for a silver blue corvette like yours. I have a couple of questions. Does this car have both tops? Has the body been in any accidents? GLWS. I love the comment about not entertaining low ball offers. I recently was selling another of my collection, and despite the BOLD, RED TEXT saying the same thing, and warning of the bite of my sarcasm lest that person not read that text, I still received some plain stupid offers. I hope you don't suffer those persons!

I just have one question! WHERE ON EARTH DID YOU GET THOSE AWESOME LISENCE PLATE COVERS!!!!!!!!!!!

PRICE DROP!! the new car arrives at the end of June, by that time I will have traded it into the dealership and it will be resold for I promise you....much higher then what is being listed.
Price is now at $55,000!! and am entertaining all offers. but please, read the ad thoroughly, the whole reason I am selling this is to make room for another car, while all the trades I have been offered look great, I have no use/space for another car and unfortunately, will not entertain trades + cash (but thank you for the interest).
Again, this car will eventually be sold as a trade-in by the end of June which is why the price is being dropped.

whats up with the $20K BIN price on e-bay now? did someone hi-jack the listing? If so, you should REALLY report that to E-bay. I'd give 2X that in cash if I thought it would by the car.
