Chris, how did the ABS brakes work compared to the Hydoboost system. Are they smooth stopping, how about electric pump noise?

I apologize for not responding sooner! I was out of town for my wedding, then honeymoon, and I forgot to check back on this thread afterwards.

The engine is a GM LS3 Crate Motor. This is the 525hp version of the LS3.

I will post pictures of the interior tomorrow or Wednesday. The car is being stored on the lift currently, but as soon as I can move it, i will take pictures.

The ABS system is great. It is very smooth and I only hear the pump when it comes on when the engine is off. I did not care for either hydroboost system i have tried....way to touchy!

It's made by a company in Georgia called SPI, Southern Polyurethanes Incorporated. I used their black with the Universal Clear coat they sell.

They also have a single stage black, which i hear is very nice! I am using it on a 1960 Austin Healey and then going to follow it with their universal clear. I have been told if you use the single stage with the universal clear that it looks wet all the time....we shall see.
Black is a pain in the **** since it shows dirt and scratches so easily, but in my opinion, it was the only choice for this car. This was actually an original Black/black car from the factory, not that it matters, but for some reason, that did influence my decision a little.

The rear bumpers are at Paul's chrome right now. Paul's is one of the most expensive chrome shops, but they do an awesome job. Everybody else was backed up 12-18 weeks. Paul's said they could have them done in 6 weeks. They have had them for 3 already, so hopefully I will have them back soon!
