I don't know if it's no-hit. I haven't seen any evidence of wrecks. I'll try to look it over some more. Would suggest getting car inspected to get second opinion.

This car goes to Mecum Austin is a couple weeks. Listed here on the forum to see if any member with a spare 435 laying around would be interested in car.

What evidence is there of 435? I see some items that indicate possibly a 427. Educate me please, because I'm mostly a 62 guy.

Out of curiosity... what is the Motor SN that is in it?

No expert here so, if this info is wrong let me know.

The 6500 tach was the first head scratcher. Then 80# oil gauge, big front sway bar, rear sway, Cap bolts on U joints, FB code BB rearend 411 posi correct date for car, transmission is matching #'s and date, possible holes located for TI box, hood prop driver side, bb front springs ( replaced with sb springs to get nose down ) bb radiator (aftermarket aluminum), bb rad support.

With exception of the obvious....hood and radiator, all else mentioned appears to have been with car for a long time.

Again, car goes to Mecum Austin and auction reserve price will be going up from this list price to cover fees and commission.

Default Tank sticker?

It's a 67 so could have one. I would look if you haven't already. If the sticker is there and readable as a BB car, you will have added much $ to the value of the car. Good Luck. Hope it is there for you.

Gents;

Correct me I am mistaken, but believe I read once read the BB chassis had a factory modification as an indentation in the front cross beam.

I think, with the advent of the BB in 1965, ALL C2 frames were made to accomidate the BB with the "cut-out" you are talking about.

But whether the car got the big block or not, ALL the 65-67 frames were the same, that is, "could" accommodate the big block.

Just out of curiosity, what is the build date of the car?

I just happen to have this sitting in my garage!
