1962 Hondurs Maroon, 340 horse, 2 tops for sale.
FYI: This car belongs to a good friend. I am assisting him with the sale. He is selling due to family/personal issues. I did receive approval from the moderator/administrator. I have no financial interest in the car.
$59,000 is the asking price.
This is a beautiful, original Honduras Maroon 62 327/340 horse. It has 87,000 original miles. I found this car for the owner, Rick, in 2011 and traveled with him to NY State to inspect it and bring it home. It had 76,000 miles on it at that time. The engine is original and all numbers are intact. Original 4 speed transmission. Original 4:11 rear end. Original, unrestored interior in excellent condition. Very nice original hardtop. New soft top. The only restoration is the paint, which was done several years ago and is very nice. It has Michelin/Diamondback radial white wall tires.
The car runs and drives like it would have in 62. All gauges work. It shifts smoothly. Brakes have been done. All fluids changed. It really has been meticulously maintained since new and needs nothing. This is a very correct car with a rust free frame. Anybody that comes to look at this car will likely buy it. It is a no excuse, nice 62 and very correct.
The car is located in Sandwich, Mass on Cape Cod. E-mail me or PM me for any additional info capevettes@comcast.net
Thanks for looking, Paul

Thanks Bruce. I looked for a car like this for a while before we went out to get it. He paid more for this car than he's asking. I'm a bit surprised nobody has jumped on this yet. It's a turn key car that really needs nothing to be enjoyed.

Here Rick's 62 is pictured on the right. A friend's 61 Fuelie that we found out in Nevada is on the left. Both are Honduras Maroon. Some commented on the 62 looking a little red in the earlier pics. These are both spot on, Honduras Maroon. Both beautiful cars.

Another couple of pics. Original motor/340 horse.
Interior completely original, Steering wheel was wrapped for a more comfortable feel.
