Default wtb 65-67 well sorted sb convertible or coupe

I thought it was a good time to put my other thread to bed and start a new thread with the hope it brings me new luck. I've had an empty garage now for a year and a half, have 65k budget. A convertible with a matching aux hard top or a coupe with AC (orig or vintage air) would work. Doesn't need to have its orig engine, but that would be my preference. 4 speed a must, prefer L79, no white, black, or yellow exteriors....black interior or saddle (no white). Looking for a solid #2 condition car for long term ownership.

65 glen green, silver pearl, milano maroon
66 laguna blue, silver pearl, milano maroon
67 lyndale blue, elkhart blue, silver pearl, goodwood green, marlboro maroon

Hoping to find one by next spring. Anyone thinking of selling? Feel free to email me at snoopy1955@comcast.net thanks, Keith OLeary 17520

Hi, I am new to forum. I got a 66 but it's black with rare blue and white interior. 4 speed, completely rebuilt L79, date correct but not numbers matching. I am just now installing vintage air, but had a hiccup at work, so may need to sell.

Default anyone thinking about letting one go to a new home?

would like to have one in my garage by spring, is anyone considering letting theirs go to a good, long term home? I'm looking for a keeper and have the money in hand.

65-67, convertible with aux top, 4 sp, L79 (but would consider the right BB or base engine), doesn't have to be matching but needs to be sorted, love tuxedo black, glen green, laguna blue, silver pearl, have up to 70k available to spend.

please don't hesitate to email and I will respond asap.

I was first in line on the perfect one about a 2 months ago, was debating back and forth in my head whether it was the right one for a day or 2, made my mind up and started trying to line up someone to look at it and someone flew in with money in their pocket and I lost out on it. Been very regretful over that one ever since. I made my mind up that the next time I get that giddy feeling on one, I'm going to offer $ to hold until I make sure everything is right or just tell the seller I will buy it based on a good report from an independant inspection when I'm sure. I found out you can't drag your feet on the good ones, they don't last (unless they're asking an outrageous number).

It's still fun, just discouraging sometimes. I miss having one in my garage.

Maybe not your color but a very popular color (Mosport Green). Near Hamilton, Ontario. American dollar is about 20 percent more than Canadian. May be worth your while to take a look.
