Thank you for posting, I appreciate it... yup I have seen this one for sale. A little further gone than I would to start with, and agree on the price. Interesting color combo. It would mirror a Porsche I own. I don't want to bite off the work to bring it back though.

A customer of our is interested in selling his restored 1963.
1963 Split window
Daytona Blue/Blue
300 hp Automatic
FACTORY AIR
Power steering
Power windows
Power brakes(1964-67 Booster)
White wall bias tires

From the condition of the car and factory air I imagine it will be priced above 100.

For the right car I am open. I do not have a budget just a range based on the condition, build and documentation of the car. Though not going to pay too high for a car that still has a little less appeal to the masses with a base engine and the auto. There are plenty of great cars with 'better' set ups (though I get the option list here is exceptional/loaded) running up over a 100. Over 100 I am going to want to really understand the restoration in heavy detail. I am not necessarily after perfection but a great driver. I am going to use the car. Cash on my end though. Blue/blue is not my first choice but I am about to go look at one Friday that is that combo near me to get a better feel for it. Feel free to send me details/pics etc and we can go from there. mark.maturo@gmail.com Thank you for reaching out.

Daytona Blue/Dark blue is stunning in person. The one at WCC seems like just what you're looking for. If it's an original CA car that could be a real winner. Good luck on Friday...

I really apologize I should have responded to you with the car you mentioned above. I just looked at a blue on blue to see if I liked the combo finally over the holidays and I think it cemented that I really do want a red interior. I guess I shouldn't fight my love of the red I have already going with my two classics. Thank you for responding.

Here you go, blue on red, auto. Not mine just passing on. A little spendy but if it is that nice....well...rare combos bring $$$

Wow, thanks!...yup that is exactly what I'm after. exactly exactly...now if only the stock market wasn't crashing today making me gun shy at 100+. I don't want to spend 132K on an auto low hp car without actual, since it does exist to do, NCRS grading/judging that it is restored right...105 to 110 possibly...wish this wasn't on the opposite coast. need to find someone to look at it in person.

yup....perfect. just need 20K off ask. I have already found a black with red also restored but not judged and home done enough that I don't think 130 they are looking for is right either on a 7 or 8 year old restoration. This one in glancing looks like it was done in a shop more than in a back yard garage but not sure. Terrible week for me time wise to dig into this one.

mmaturo,
If you want some eyeballs on this I'm only about 45 min. away from Sacramento. I don't know the car personally but I believe it was restored awhile ago. The picture that shows the engine with the builders names must be older because Paul Lecari has been dead for maybe 8 to 10 years now. He used to own a restoration shop called Corvette World in Sacramento with his son, Tony. There are a couple of things in the add that don't make sense like the "Solid Lifter" 300hp engine, but if the owner was writing checks to have it restored, he may not be that knowledgeable about what was done.
Get in touch with the owner and if it gets serious I'll do what I can. I'm an NCRS member for 30+ years now, and like most, I know enough to be dangerous....lol.
Chris
