I know nothing about the car but in the 4th from the last pic you can see what looks like some repair on the frame rail just under where the driver would set. You may want to blowup that pic and look at it carefully.

Reading the persons ad seems like he's got a bit of an attitude about his car. Take it or leave it. I wouldn't trust a person who wrote an ad like that. I love when they start mentioning how hard these cars are getting to find and how rare this one is.

Ebay feedback indicates he reneged on a $57K no reserve final price. Good call on not being trustworthy...

He offered to trade me for my 69 Chevelle SS Convertible but not what I was looking for. I pulled up his previous auctions and saw this and stayed away

CAR IS BEING SOLD WITH CLEAN AND CLEAR KENTUCKY TITLE !

I have a nice mildly modified black/silver cove 58 vette for sale listed in the C1 classifieds that I am selling for a close friend of mine. Much nicer than a daily driver with show quality paint and detail. Rack and Pinion Steering, Muncie 4 speed with 4th gear overdrive, disk brakes and stout 383 small block. Beautiful car....car reduced to $67,500 or reasonable offers.

I wouldn't buy the yellow 58,guys not doing anybody a favor and has an attitude. I've seen some nice cars for that price but then again I would want something stock.

Interesting text. He says he's selling the car because his fiancé is jealous that the car draws all sorts of women his way.

He also says they are rare in France and Sweden. Not sure what that has to do with selling one in the US, but I will say I just got back from Sweden and there were 2 '58s at the show I attended.
