1965 Corvette Convertible Numbers 3 Speed!!
Up for sale is a numbers matching rare 1965 Corvette Convertible A.O. Smith built body in Ionia, Michigan on Sept 15th, 1964. Final assembly was Nov 9th, 1964. This is a rare car as only 434 Corvette's were ordered with a 3 speed. This Vette also has original numbers matching 327/250hp motor/trans and what appears to be original Carter carb. This car also runs great! Car has been repainted in original Ermine White 15 years ago with original Red vinyl interior. The frame is amazing on this car, the chrome is amazing and so is the paint. Seats have been redone and car has a brand new top. I have original owners manual, original keys and original radio instructions. I am the third owner of this car and second owner had it for 45 years. Car was always garaged and covered. Asking price is $37,500 or best. Beautiful car. White with red is a classic combo. My 60 was a factory 3 speed car. I always wondered how much the upgrade was to a four speed back in the stone age days.

I also owned a 1964 with a 250 hp 327 and also had the 3 speed transmission. The 4 speed option cost was $188.30 in 1964.
