Default 1959/1960 body for project car

WTB - A 1959 or 1960 Corvette body. Mechanicals, front fiberglass, chassis, VIN tag not important. I need a solid body from the firewall back. Interior trim missing is OK, but price should reflect that.

I am building a 1959/1960 car with a 1956/1957 front end, and modified rear body to look like a 56/57. This car will have the 58-62 interior setup. Car will be on a modified C3 chassis.

I need just the body listed above, but will consider more complete, or slightly less complete cars (missing doors OK, but again price reflects this).

I am in the Huntsville, AL area. My restoration guy is in Evansville, IN area. We both will need to see the car, or at least real good pictures.

Email me at emccomas57@gmail.com for more details, or leads.

Corvettewill, thanks so much for the leads.

I considered the one in TN, but he wants too much for it. The complete body in Omaha is way to much for what I want to do. It would be a shame to cut that body up.
The one in Atlanta looks promising.

Thanks again.

OK, this project is back on the books.

Looking for a 59 or 60 body. I do NOT want a complete body, I want a body that is missing or has a damaged front clip. I do not want to break up a good body, so I want want one that needs front clip work.

With or without chassis is fine, with or without VIN tag is fine, but price needs to reflect these issues.

The ideal car, in my mind, is a 59-60 complete body with a windshield and windshield frame, complete interior and instrument cluster (but gauges can be missing), missing all of the rear bumpers (since I will not need them). Even better would, be a car like this that does not need a lot of body work except for the front clip replacement.

A previously restored and now wrecked in the front car would work. Same for a driver quality car that has suffered some front end damage.

My goal is to build (or have built) the hot rod Corvette that I first dreamed of back in 1973.

A 1956 to 1958 car would work, but is not my first choice. The quality of the fiberglass was much improved starting in 1959, and I prefer to work with that fiberglass.

Hi emccomas,
If you have a 1960 C1 project with the front bumper off and you feel like taking a few measurements would be much appreciated. I have a new clip and the size and location of the holes in the side of the front fender for the bumper side brackets are missing, if you could spare a few minutes to take some measurements and a photo with those measurements would be much appreciated?

Making requests of people who advertised they were looking for a car a year ago doesnt make sense… they do not have that car.
