Default HIGHLY OPTIONED 66 roadster

After 30 years, it is time to give up custody of my vette.

-Original VIN plate and trim plate in place
Nassau Blue on Bright Blue
-327/300 code and date correct components as follows..
-block, heads, intake manifold, exhaust manifold.
-equipped with AIR exhaust manifolds...likely an original Cali car.
-stamp pad has been decked...
-NOM/matching number...you decide..no docs to confirm or deny
-engine compartment details are complete and correct.
-OPTIONS..P.S, PB, PG, Factory A/C, leather upgrade, P.W., am K.O. wheels, hard top, All Tint Glass, D/N mirror.
-new BFG w/w touring tires
-stainless steel exhaust
-body has been gapped and straightened, with show quality cut and polished Glasurit 90 line B/C C/C applied.
-doors close with the push of one finger.
-all bonding strips in place
-all chrome and bright work is excellent
-dash, gauges, dash pads, consul are excellent
-rear wheel bearings recently replaced
-body has never been separated from the frame
-no frame or birdcage rot now or ever

-I only drive the car during "top down" weather.
-my body is toold to wipe down road grime from the undercarriage
-under carriage is rust free

-The A/C requires an STV valve update kit and a 134a conversion.
-system is still charged with R12
-the power antenna works intermittently
-car should have a new convertible top
- I have a new Al Knoch top in the box that goes with the car.

Car is still in storage so I don't have any current pics.
I have some older pics but not much has changed besides a couple of seasons on enjoyment.

$57,000

Thanks for looking

Looking for a good home for my baby.

You might tell people where the car is located, I assume Ontario by the plate, and what you are pricing it in US or Canadian, there was some confusion in another thread where the seller said 100k US and 110k Canadian.

I have no dog in this hunt, but given all the pigs with lipstick out there available in the 40's, some cars not moving confuses me.

There was a sweet white '67 convertible with blue interior on here that was beautiful, priced in the mid-50s, and took forever to sell.

Maybe, since it's up north, you might help people's concerns by explaining what it takes to purchase and import a car from there to the states? Might help.

With all your points 100%

No issues for a North American built vehicle to cross borders let alone an American built vehicle repatriating back to its origin, as ALL Corvettes are built in the USA.

Looking for a good home for my baby.
My '66 former NCRS coupe with matching numbers has every option available that year except for head rests, AND it has powerglide. I would not consider selling it for your asking price. Not sure what the no takers at this price are balking at.

2 THREAD UPDATES!!!!

I forgot to mention the “teak wheel” is not included in the sale.
The wheel was on loan to me by a friend.
Vehicle is being sold with the original wheel which is “perfect”.

After much current market research, I have decided to increase the price of the vehicle back to $57,500 USD.

Under carriage pics were taken in Oct 2010.
Engine compartment taken just before vehicle was repainted back to original trim tag Nassau Blue. Fall of 2009
Car has been driven sparingly since then.
There will be some minor road grit due to minor use.
Car is never driven in the rain and never bakes in the sun.
