Default 57-60 older resto-mod or 63-67 nice driver

OK, I know I am driving some of you crazy ... 30 mg or prednisone a day is driving me crazy, so bare with me.

My budget is still $50K, with the possibility of a stretch to $60K ish for a really nice car.

I am looking for one of the following:

1. A 1957 to 1960 resto-mod car. I am thinking about one of the older resto-mods that were built on C4 components, or perhaps a modified chassis with a C4 drive train. This car needs to have IRS or solid axle with coil overs in the rear and updated front suspension. Disc brakes are a must.

2. A 1963-1967 resto-mod car. Again one of the older resto-mods using C4 components of updated EFI style drive train. Again disc brakes are a must.

3. A 1963 to 1967 basically original car that is an older top flight style restoration and is now a nice driver car.

Funding is in place, and I am ready to travel to find the right car.

All leads very much appreciated.

Have you reached out to Rod Sabory, he currently has a few of what you're looking for...BOTH options. Really nice older Resto Mod C1's and two C2's that were frame off restored a few years back, all are very reasonably priced.

Good luck with your hunt,
GS

Rod must have really changed his tune, whenever I have seen his cars at Carlisle he is reaching for the moon.

OK, just a minor update.

Still looking, but my wife REALLY likes the look of a coupe, so the coupe gets a slight preference over the convertible. I emphasize slight.

So, the goal is a
1. 1957-1960 older resto-mod car
2. 1963-1967 older resto-mod car
3. 1963-1967 older ex Top Flight / Bloomington car

I figure that when these cars were restored, the effort was quality / top notch. And getting an older resto-mod or Top Flight car that is now a very nice daily driver is my goal.

And I do understand that this effort is a marathon, not a sprint.

Thanks for all of the assistance that I have received, and continue to receive.
