Good morning,
I have a 63 SWC body "on frame today" about to start the bodywork, I was planning on doing same, I have almost ALL the original trim and parts, its a non matching trans and motor.

I also know of two more.

Can I ask what's your rough budget?

Thanks,
GS

Final budget is going to be a very high end resto mod.

Pay for starter car depends on the condition of the car. I don't need drivetrain or frame as they are to be replaced

I know just what it costs to build a Top Shelf RestoMod C2.

If you're interested I have my 1963 SWC currently it's at the Body Shop in PA. Work has yet to start, my plan was to also build a Resto Mod.
I stripped the interior, all parts are bagged and boxed, (no seats).
Original dash, clock, fuse box and wiring Etc, all boxed .
The glass is still in the car.

The frame is connected to the car, with original type rear. I removed the motor and trans everything go's with the car even the hubcaps.
Its and original 4 speed, power window, power steering car.
If your interested let me know I'll provide you my phone number.
Thanks,
George

That sounds like a nice enough car to build all original but I'd love a 63 resto mod. I'm interested ifvthe price is good.

Thx, but looking for a titled car

I could build one without, but I'd like a titled car as there will be a lot invested and a title will certainly help recoup the investment in the future.

Default 65 coupe restomod candidate

I have a 65 coupe I am considering selling. Great restomod candidate. Has good original body- no sign of Hard collision ever. Price would be in low 30's Numbers don't match. Car is located in Glendale AZ. Solid rust free frame. Not sure if this is in your budget or not. I sent you a PM.

New to the site.
Presently finishing up a 33 Factory Five roadster with a 408 stroker and have a little ways to go yet on a 66 mustang fastback pro touring with full frame, supercharged aluminator, TKO 600. Both cars are in paint and body now.
My wife has had 5 Vette's and I recently traded her 2014 for a competition edition R8 but she misses the Vette.
Instead of buying a new model I'm considering a pro touring build of a C2 which would run and handle like new but be relatively unique.
Very familiar with the costs of building and just wondering whether to start another significant project.
Please reply or e-mail me pricing and any information you have on the present condition of the 63 along with any parts available towards the build at this point. My e-mail address is ljm@legacyengineeringgroup.com.

Thanks. I've come to realize that a split window project is likely out of my range. I've recently purchased a 57 nomad to make a restomod. I'll continue with that plan unless I find a good deal on a SWC or other C2
