The people asking those prices for basket cases are insane !!!!
Its a SWC............but its not worth $55K+++ when its missing everything and is a basket case.
LOL
Good Luck to the people searching for one, i would spend the money to buy one done, rather than spend months or years tracking down hard to find parts.

When you have people watching Barrett-Jackson and MECUM, suddenly anything old and a classic is worth $$$$$$$.
The auction houses have ruined the auto industry for collectors and the average person.
Now everyone thinks they have a pot of gold, there is no reality anymore for anyone on any values of any classics, if its a corvette suddenly its worth $75K, if its a LS6 they want $250K, if its a Hemi CUDA they want the same $$$$$.
A lot of these cars are misrepresented clones, fakes and frauds, what needs to happen is a lot of people need to go to jail for a long time for ripping others off, as in FRAUD.
There is way too many models around, in fact more than were ever produced for certain makes/models.
SAD, the fun of collecting is gone, now its only who has the most $$$$$ at the auction, and who is willing to overpay the most !!!

When I went to see the car it was full of garbage, rat nests, one snake, water leaves acorns and who knows what else up to the door sills.
He wanted 5k for it and it didn't have a title for it, couldn't find it.
The windshield framed had been cut down about 3" and glass replaced with clear plastic, the front end gutted and replaced with a straight axel. Frame rusted and had buckle in the front by the door posts. The only thing I saw of value was the rear glass and trim and the rear split window clip, the doors, what was left of them.
The only ID was on the firewall id as a NY kit car. He also had a 73 in similar conditions He was selling the cars to finish the roof on a house that he was building.
Drove by the other day and noticed the cars gone and the place clean up. House is still not finished. he never got it done. I offered Ed 2k for it and I was going to make shop art out of it.He was firm on the 5k and continue to tell me how he had seen some 63 sell on Mecum from 100 to 175k.
I can't imagine someone paying that for the car.
The estate probably just got rid of it.
