Have you found your car? I'm new on forum and late to reply. If you are still looking, I am selling my very nice 65 driver, owned, improved, and pampered for 25 years. Has - 327 350 L79 engine, Muncie 4 spd, 3:70 posi axle - All with matching numbers. Complete engine, driveline, chassis, frame rebuild 5000 miles back. Has Side exhaust and Knock off wheels. Car is very complete and everything works - Power brakes, steering, windows, backup lights, antenna, clock

Understand you have other color preference, but it is a beautiful (trim tag correct) Glen Green with White interior and White top.

I'm looking for a new owner who wants to carry on the project and enjoy the car. Paint refresh would be my next project that I'm considering now. Price will be attractive. PM me you email if you want to see pics and more description.

Good luck

Info on 65 Convertible
Hello - Figured out how to add pictures to the thread. I have many more to support authenticity, pictures taken during restoration, etc.. I will add some of frame and undercarriage in a separate post this AM where I will explain more about major rebuild of total engine and chassis. Want to get you started. In my opinion the darker colors, like Glen Green, are most stunning with the knock offs and side pipes. All appearance is very original.

More on Glen Green 65
Hello again - This set of pictures include those of chassis and frame taken earlier this year. You indicate a concern about frames, as you should. The major chassis and engine rebuild completed in 2008 did include restoration of the frame. In my annual spring inspection I found that frame kick up area had significant rust that had been partially covered at the time of earlier body, paint and interior work before I purchased the car in early '93. After studying the options I chose to pull the body off and to complete a proper and professional frame rebuild. After complete disassembly frame was first acid dipped to remove all old paint and rust. My search had identified Dynamic Corvettes in Saginaw MI as specialists with the proper equipment for frame rebuild (http://www.dynamiccorvettes.com/frames/). Dynamic utilized new stamped frame rail sections and corner gussets to replace the bad areas. This was accomplished utilizing a special purpose Corvette frame jig to clamp all contact points per the original blueprints. The weld areas were metal finished. As an automotive engineer, I was very impressed. After repair I took it back to the ecoat vendor to strip any new surface rust and then completed new full frame dip ecoat. Other chassis components had the same process: A arms, cross members, swing arms. Car has been garaged and the 5500 miles since have been in fair weather. At that time, virtually everything was rebuilt or replaced; new frnt springs, rebuilt rear spring, new poly bushings, new bearings, ujoints, brakes, differential seals, trans rebuild, & and engine. Today I consider the chassis and driveline to be the highest quality aspect of the car. My priorities in all of the work have been: safety, longevity, drivability as I intended to keep and use the car as an outstanding "driver".
