You let her put her heels up on the car!!
Just kidding, we all know our wives can do just about anything they want as long as they let us keep our cars...
I'm a CPA too, but I get attached to my cars. All in the eye of the beholder, she probably doesn't drive it, so that is the diff. My wife could care less about the cars, she doesn't even want to drive them. I think she's afraid that if she broke something, I'd be pissed
Good luck with the sale, it is a beautiful car, would love to own it, but I only would have a '55 to trade you.

Pat,
I thought the same thing...for awhile...but my wife is a CPA and works in finance for a large aerospace company. So while she likes the 67, she doesn't get sentimental where a lot of $$$ is involved.
If I recall correctly, is the original JE engine in your Nomad perfectly dated for this car? Maybe you should get the car and put them together?

I did get it running and on the road just a few weeks ago.
That 427 runs incredibly well, especially so when all six barrels kick in!

I thought these Polaroids were pretty cool. In the mid-1970's it had been repainted to sliver. Stayed that way until 2001 when it was stripped to bare glass and put back to original Rally Red.

Bringing this up to the top one last time. There are two fair offers on the car currently, neither from members of the CF. If anyone following the thread is seriously interested but has been waiting on the sidelines, please do get in touch because the car absolutely will be sold in the upcoming two weeks.
