Default Grand Sport Replica/Rest-O-Mod going to Barrett-Jackson

I may regret this about the time the hammer falls, it’s a no reserve auction, but I am ready to move on. I have enjoyed the car immensely. I believe based on input from members of this forum it is a MAI build by Jeff Leach, with a clear title as a 1963 Corvette, with original 63 birdcage, z-bar, trim and VIN tags. From there on it is far from a stock Corvette. 4" tube chassis, alloy GM/Lingenfelter LS6 with polished features, six speed manual transmission, alloy monoleaf rear independent suspension, alloy coil over front suspension, power rack and pinion steering, power 4 wheel disc brakes with 12” slotted/drilled/vented rotors, 17” alloy wheels, Ididit tilt column, full custom interior, stainless steel gas tank. Most Grand Sport body modifications including flairs, Plexiglas rear window, small trunk with battery access, fuel fill relocated to passenger side, brake fluid access door driver side front fender, Daytona hood, modified door handle access, unique headlight covers and grill, functional rear brake cooling intakes and an added front spoiler with brake cooling intake, Etc.
I bought it modified it to fit my taste and have played with it for a while, it now will get a new home.

Sure don't mind posting the selling price, once it sells, it is a no reserve offering. It is scheduled to sell 1/20/18 sometime early afternoon.

Also has a six way power driver seat.

Sure hope someone likes it enough to bid, this is gut wrenching and yet I get it with respect to no reserve versus reserve. In the no reserve world you know you are bidding against real money not air.

Sold $105,000. Had a lot of fun with this car and it’s now in the hands of a new owner. Hope he enjoys it as much as I did.

I was following that '60, it just struck me as being flat-out elegant. I loved it. I thought I saw you get it; great choice.
