Default 1966 Corvette convertible ex Super Stock car

I bought this car last year as a roller. It was originally a maroon big block 4 speed car from the factory. It has been racing in Super Stock for years before I purchased the car. Since the car has been racing since the 70s and has very little street time the original body panels, chrome and glass are in excellent condition and it was never hit. My intention was to put my motor in the car and do some bracket racing and some local cruise nights. The paint job is show quality and very detailed by Super Stock racer Bucky Hess in WV. Car won best appearing at the 2013 Summer Nationals in Englishtown NJ. Over last summer got my freshened 0 run motor in the car and got it running although with family schedules and work I didn’t get to race or use the car as much as I had planned so i’m looking to sell it. The motor is a 427 4 bolt bored .30 over with 13.1 pistons, Oliver connecting rods, GM heads ported and polished along with Edelbrock Victor manifold, Holley 1050 carb, custom grind Ultradyne cam and brand new $2300 Lemons Headers that were ceramic coated. Trans and converter are also brand new 0 time from Trans Specialties. Powerglide has aftermarket case with 1.80 straight cut gears and transbrake and 8’” spragless converter. Rear is a 4 link 9” Ford with Mark Williams center section and axles and Mark Williams disc brakes all the way around with Weld wheels. New shocks, Afco in rear and Santhuff in front. Factory interior in excellent condition. Frame and original body is also in excellent condition. Car can easily be set up for the street. Previous owner removed the roll bars as his intention was to put it back on the street. I’m Not selling because of money so please no low ball offers. Looking to get something I’ll get more use out of. Possible trades for C7 or nice driver C2. I have NJ title for the car. Also have additional pictures and video of it running. Car is located in southern NJ.
Asking $60000

Very cool paint scheme. Would you consider selling without motor/trans?

I volunteer to take it to Atco and make a couple hits in it. Then we could post the time slips. I love it.
