Default 1966 Corvette Coupe [PA]

I have been reading this site extensively for the past year as I have been getting this car road worthy after my father passed away. I spent many long hours in his garage working on the original restore of this car, but due to my fathers health problems, the car sat for the past 5 years. Thanks to the great knowledge on this forum I have the car back to normal and unfortunately must sell.

1966 Corvette Stingray Coupe - Green exterior w/ Dark Green interior

Frame off restoration/modification around 1989. (I was in high school at the time)
Original big block car, but has the base badges. NOT the 427 badges.
Original color was Mosport green but painted an 80's Chevrolet teal.

454 Big Block engine

4 Speed M21 Manual Transmission
Side pipes kit.
1960s Keystone thrust style mag wheels

Interior and Exterior show signs of wear for a 52 year old car that was restored almost 30 years ago.

Serious offers only. Asking $49,999 or best offer.

I am selling this as part of an estate, so no trades please.

Per Vettebuyer6369:

The Corvette is titled under my father's name (now deceased) as a classic car in PA. I am listed as the executor of the estate and will be able to sign over the vehicle title with the legal short certificate.

I will be responsible for all aspects of the sale of the car including the responsibility for any issues post sale.

If this car is not titled in your name and is part of an estate, you need to follow Forum requirements regarding selling a car owned by someone else. Please review the rules below and address the issues not discussed as yet:

Site users sometimes list Corvettes for a friend or relative who is unable to market and sell the car for themselves for some legitimate reason.

We tried a revision to the rules to allow those listings to take place without the need to get prior approval from an administrator so long as the threads disclosed the circumstances of the nominee sale and stated the role they would play in resolving any post-sale disputes.

It hasnít worked as it has created a proliferation of people offering Corvettes for sale for a friend or relative who declare they will take no responsibility in resolving post-sale disputes. Thatís potentially harmful to site users, so we are reverting to some of the previous language.

Going forward, those listing cars or parts they do not personally own must make this clear in their sales thread, posting:
  • The circumstances regarding why the owner is not listing the car
  • The role the thread starter will play in the sale
  • And agreeing to participate in trying to resolve any post-sale issues.
Threads failing to address those points will be removed by moderators.

Potential buyers should be aware of who the actual owner of the car or parts is and who would be responsible for potential disputes before proceeding with a purchase.

Added a video walk around with the car idling.

Thanks for looking.

Seriously? Seems like the OP went out of his way to comply with all of the rules.

I am not normally a fan of modified cars, but I have to say this is one very good looking car. I am sure some lucky buyer will enjoy it a great deal. Good luck on the sale and I agree the seller seems to have provided about all the info you need to know about the ownership, his relationship and how he will handle the title. All seems on the up and up to me. --Bob
