Default WTB 1963 convertible

I am looking for a weekend driver not a show car and not a dog either. My budget is under 50k. I might spend a little more for something really nice. I would like a car with both soft and hard top and I prefer the 327 340HP however open to other engine options. I have found many that meet my price range but not one that is exactly what I want. Also prefer no damage/flood history and a solid suspension and frame.

Color choice by preference:

1. White with red interior
2. Red with Red interior
3.Black with Red interior
4. Any of the above with Black interior.

Keep running in to VIN issues on cars. The current 1966 convertible I am looking at has a VIN of 194673116843.

So, are you still looking for a ‘63? Subsequent posts suggest a ‘64 and a ‘66?

This one came up on the SFBA craigslist this morning for $45k:

Not my car, no affiliation with seller.

After flying around looking at cars I finally found something that fit my requirments. I just bought a 1966 numbers matching convertible. I flew out to Aneheim and looked over and drove the car. It’s Laguna Blue with a 300HP numbers matching 327 engine. It was a consignment car at West Coast Corvette. Should be shipped early next week. Thanks for all the help.

Pat

I guess I need to figure out how to change my forum name to Pat1966.

Congrats, Pat, sounds like a nice Vette, and coming from California it is cleaner than most. Enjoy it!
