Good friend Jim in Colorado has his 65 coupe track car that he and son built in 2005 for sale. The car ran Rocky Mountain Vintage Grand Prix races in 2004-06 and has a log book. The car was sold new at GOVANS Chevrolet, Baltimore MD. It was restored by Steve George and Dick Benton as a tribute racer, and then the current owner purchased it in 2001 and proceded to make it into a race car.
The 1965 Chevrolet Corvette was built in December 1964 and reportedly was modified into a race car tribute track racer by Steve George and Dick Benton. Today is now powered by a 350ci V8 paired with a 4-speed Super T-10 manual transmission and a 4.11:1 Positraction rear axle. The car is finished in blue over a red interior and is equipped with Corbeau racing seats, 2 sets of wheels and tires, original seats also available.a fire-suppression system, and supplemental AutoMeter instrumentation. Recent maintenance included a valve adjustment and a new fuel-pressure regulator.
This Corvette race car was purchased as a father / son project. Brian raced the car for 9 years and competed in Rocky Mountain Vintage Racing events. He passed 4 years ago. It is now offered by Jim with the logbook, spares, NCRS documentation, and a clean Colorado title. It is titled and registered for the street with original VIN and TRIM tags.

JIM BURRIDGE is 77 years old. His son BRIAN was 40 years old when he died in his sleep 4 years ago in 2014.. Jim called me in February, and said he was finally ready to sell the car, and asked for my help cause of the REGISTRY OF CORVETTE RACE CAR knowledge of the car. They both attended the CWT Registry event in August 2011 at Road America when I saw the car and met them both first time.

I am here to help JIM sell the car. I have no interest in the car. BURRIDGE no internet savvy and only does email. He does not know how to list a car for sale and therefore asked for my help.
