Very nice John. I wish I could still shift and walk better, it would be in my garage. SADDLE TAN has always been given a bad rap. This car looks great. You say, matching number 365hp/327.....Is it the original drivetrain?

Flew into Phu Cat many a time in the slick (Huey). For us, it was almost like going back stateside, lol. you guys even had flushing toilets. When We were were on short final, Fox 4 fast movers scared the heck out of me, Way to much bad wind behind them, but loved the look , and workouts , of those fixed wings. Welcome home. Oh. found a shirt that says " what ever doesn't kill you, makes you stronger..except infantry, infantry will kill you, lol. Good to see another Nam Vet still upright. Just to avoid misunderstandings, I wasn't a pilot, I was a GIB (guy in back), or known as a crewman/ crew chief/ right side door gunner. Sadly, the year I left was 1972 and ANY place we had given back to Marven the Arven, looked like a junkyard and NOT a military base .LZ English, An Kha, Plei Kui, all trASH HEAPS. It was very sad for me to see, thinking about all the GIs that had lived there, some which were KIA there..No wonder the ARVEN lost the war. BTW, we were winning when I left in july of 72.
