Default For Sale: Restored 1956 Roadster

My dad is selling his 56 Vette so I figured I would list it here for him.

The car had a frame off restoration done in Texas and was shipped up here to Lexus of Mahwah where my dad bought it. The car is numbers matching with the exception of the transmission which was switched from a Powerglide automatic to a 3-speed somewhere in the car's past. The engine is the original engine that came from the factory and it's a 265CID with dual quads. It also has heat, a Wonderbar radio, a parking brake alarm, courtesy lights, windshield washers w/ original washer fluid bad, whitewall tires, a hardtop (1957 hardtop, but same as 56), power hydraulic top, and 2-tone paint. The car is Polo white with silver coves, black top, and red interior. The car has 29,000 original miles on it. Many people who have seen the car have commented that it is one of the most original 56's they've seen.

My dad is asking $46,000 for it. I can be contacted either here or emailed at ccole@stevens-tech.edu or vette97@optonline.net
