First Class Body Removal Walk Through
I have seen numerious tech articles including those from Nolan Adams over the past 25 years describing as best they can, the procedure that should be followed to remove and re-install a Corvette body for the restoration process.
NEVER have I even seen anything as complete, precise, and easy to follow, as the article that is found on the following webpage. http://www.corvetterepair.com/tech_tips.htm "
" Corvette Repair Inc. " is one of the East Coasts, premire restoration shops, and have included a complete walk through of the removal/installation process on their website. I guarantee you it is well worth the read.
For those of you who also like something different, the site also includes an assortement of original racers, and "one-off" builds
Enjoy

You're right, what the heck was I thinking....Completely forgot.
We start early next year.....OK?
In all seriousness, I'm thinking about trying to put together, or get my hands on some sort of a 'master' plan on the approach, major areas, parts, etc....Sort of like a high level Project Management thingy. I figure, why re-invent the wheel, when one or more here have already done some of this exact stuff.

yep, looks like Kevin completely re-did his shop's website and the "Tech tips" page is gone.
I have Kevin's list as a PDF file but can't post it up until I have permission from Kevin to do so (copyright issues, etc)

If you go to the link posted by firstgear in Post #4, and then put body removal in the search box in the upper right hand corner the page will come up. At least it does for me.

I haven't posted for years, but I still visit once and a while, and think of all you guy's especially at this time of the year when every one ( including most of my friends ) are packing up for the annual pilgramage to the Corvette show in Carlisle.
I recently gave my vender spaces to Al Knoch, who has occupied them, and will continue to do so in the future.
