Default Help - 1954 - What is it Worth???

I came across a 1954 Corvette (Serial #22xx) for sale locally. Nice car. I cannot justify owning 2 C1's at the same time. But I might be able to swing buying a second C1, enjoying it for 6 months or so, and then selling it at breakeven or a small profit (including transaction costs). Thus, I need to be smart about how much I pay.

I spent an hour with the car today, and drove it for a bit (wearing a big smile). My observations:

Pros:
Very nice driver
Owned by a mechanic - car runs great
Fiberglass appears nice
No rust problems - straight frame
Paint - 10 footer. Repainted years ago
Radio - Gauges work great
After market white hardtop (Plasticon?) in great shape
Softtop works fine - top needs to be replaced at some point.
Side Curtains
Original jack and handle in mint condition
Fresh Carpets and Seats
Original chrome - not show quality
Ignition Shielding is nice

Cons:
Wrong Block (engine pad - F420B)
Wrong Heads (3836848)
Wrong Distributor (cannot drive tach)
Converted to 12v (is this a con?)
Some items missing (e.g., heater valve)
Incorrect trunk mat
Replacement radiator but original tag

What is this car worth???

What price range would this car generate on ebay???

Thanks for your help,

Russ

I'm not one to tell a price of what its worth and I guess already owning a C1 would hold one back but for me that is one nice looking 54.
I have wanted a 54 for some time and I would be all over that one if the price was inline.

With the crazy (Barrett Jackson/Proteam etc) driven market, price are off the boards. Nice car, my person thought (if I were buying) would be low $40s. Good luck.

50ish would be in the ball park. Hard to tell without seeing it. Range of 40 to 60 for non matching depending on condition. Car looks nice in the pictures.
