Default Card

JohnZ;
My card is different than yours, it came with my 66'. It looks the same as yours but has another number at the bottom but the lower left corner is broken off and I can not see what is printed there. I will try to reproduce the card here, I would take a picture and send you but my camera is down.

Here's a nice repro on eBay:

Originals usually go for $150-$200.

The pins are not year specific and all look the same. At least the 61, 62, and 63`s are. However one of my originals does not have "owner" on the bottom and I dont remember what year it represented or if it was an actual mistake as I was away at school and my parents recieved each one of the kits and the monthly Corvette News as my home address.

I think that the "owners pin" you have without "owner" on it is actually a separate item, a "tie tack". I believe that Gordon Miller Jewelry sold these. Chuck

Here's another reproduction. Cheap enough if you don't need an origonal. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Corve...QQcmdZViewItem

John,

Can I publish this picture on the C2 Registry download area? It is surely of interest to other C2 owners!

greetings,
Rob Musquetier.

I haven't seen this mentioned, but I received a congratulations letter from Bunkie Knudsen. (I think that was the name, but the letter is in the safe deposit box). I think it was in the packet, but perhaps I'm remembering wrong.

My car was a mid-May build.

Check out our site and you can compare your lapel pin to the images
here and you should be able to figure out what kind of pin it is.

Its identical as the owners pin except there is no owner across the bottom......it came with the owners package...which had a 'ID' plastic card with my name and vin number of the 63 and Corvette News subscription and a Corvette soft jacket patch.....so hatever the owners pin is in your inventory would be the same size and type

I see there is one on ebay now but the face of the pin is white.Did any of these originally have colored faces or is it likely someone painted this one? This one makes me wonder if some of them were in Corvette colors.

This one? Looks like someone did paint this one, but it might just be the lighting in the picture.

Compare it to this one...

Rather than respond to a thread thats been dead for 4 years and was started 11 years ago, Let's start a new one if we want to revist this topic (there's been a few).

Also, Ive removed sales ads from this thread. If you want to sell something, please post in the Sales areas (in this case Auto Extras and Memorabilia) unless you are a Supporting Vendor.
