True, it is a 66 Corvette ONLY 427/425hp and 450hp carburator, and therefore a very rare one year only unit. It is dated 7B1 which is 1967, February 1. So, it is a service replacement.

A good friend found a correct dated 6B5 (Feb 5,66) core for his March 66 production car. He paid $600 and was damn glad to find it. After the restoration, he knows he will have over $1000 invested in the old Holley.

So I would think any price in the $500 area woukl be a bargin, and just take your hit in date points.

I am sorry. I missed the date in the first post. I think about $300-400 in the condition it is now in. $500-700 for it in restored condition. Dependent on what the market will pay. A late 65 -- very rare. A 66 -- not as rare but still expensive. A 67 3 digit date will bring about the same as a 4 digit date service replacement in my opinion.

Default 585 code

I have one of these carbs with a 585 date code. It's not in the best condition but if you are looking for the right code and this is it let me know.

This thread is eleven years old. I doubt the original poster needs one now. If you have one for sale post a add on the parts for sale section

This thread is over 10 years old, I would think he has solved his carb search by now.

Wow, that's old. While the thread is up what is a 4 digit replacement 780 holley worth that needs rebuilding?

Do you still have your Holley, List 3247, date coded 585?
If so, is it for sale and what would you be asking?
Thanks

Why don’t you try directly PMing the member instead of bringing up an old thread he didn’t even author?
